This is by far the best use I can think of for Jello since I can't stand to eat the stuff. It's Jello Playdough! It provides color and a good smell. I think I might try to make it today. You can see a recipe here or here.

Have fun making your Jello playdough! There are also good recipes out there for Kool-Aid playdough as well — another product I don't actually like to eat :)

I think this is a great way to use Jello which I detest as well! maybe I'll try it. Thanks for the link.
My only concern would be that it smelled so good that the kids would be more interested in eating/tasting it than they would with regular play dough.
That being said, I think it would be a great use for Kool-aid, or sugar water as we call it at my brothers house.
